Asphodelites predictably start infighting

In my current run I have a high reputation with flowers and the Consortium, and noticed this behavior in legendary glowpad lairs... The asphodelites gather in swarms, and have splash attacks.. so if they get in a fight with something, they will draw aggro from each other, and enter a lengthy game of 'there can be only one'.

This is sort of annoying from a framerate perspective, and I imagine it could lead to unintended consequences as well. (Add some feral lah to the picture, and it's a veritable pandemonium...)
