misplaced flying follower aggression with items

when you attack an item on the ground then stand on it before it gets destroyed, your flying followers set to engage aggressively will swoop into you. this behavior will continue if you pick the item up, they’ll simply follow you and attack you with swoops when they can. nonflying followers know not to attack the same space you’re in.
