Network of Roots still turns items to mush

Started a game with Network of Roots after the June 9th update, and played with no issues until after the Grit Gate attack, where the pet’s inventory is now full of bugged “Object” items again. Unsure how to replicate, but the knot of roots was in the crossfire and was probably affected by normality and electrical arcs at the very least.
