propose making bits items so they can be transferred

I propose making this a valid build strategy: I’m a weak little dumb little esper who dominates people to get by in life. I’m just smart enough to disassemble, so I’d like to gather bits and transfer them to Bep and then make him build stuff for me. Currently since bits stay with a character, the only way to transfer them is to build something and have it disassembled by the dominated character. But I’m too dumb to tinker. What’s an esper to do?

This could be done by making bits into items, with attendant clutter. Or making bits universally pooled like learning data disks seems to be. Or something else!
