MacOs Cannot Continue to Add to Chest

Playing on the beta version for the new ability UI. Via MacOs on Steam:

While rebinding keys, the “Store” selection was empty. I normally use the ‘+' (I believe the normal command) for descending. I have been unable to assign anything, including '+’, that would let me add to a chest while it contains items. The keybind will assign as normal, the chest menu displays the new keybind as normal, but the key will not open the storage menu.

The empty chest prompt still allows me to insert items, but the Store function remains inoperable in a chest with items in it.
