Used beguiling on a water farmer, equipped an ontological anchor on him and gave him a fidget cell. He slotted the fidget cell into the anchor. Then gave him a chem cell. When the fidget cell ran down, he slotted the chem cell into the anchor.

tl;dr yes they do.
