AI Equipping Behaviour

I’ve seen different claims on how AI is supposed to behave with equipping things. I don’t know if there’s a bug here or not, I’ll just detail what the “rules” seem to be after a bit of testing.
- NPCs that aren’t your allies will never equip anything you sell them.
- If you sell something to an NPC and then make them your ally, they won’t equip it.
- If you give an NPC an item while they’re your ally, they’ll equip it if it’s “better” than what they currently have.
- As an exception, if the NPC has a restocking inventory, they won’t equip anything whether they’re your ally or not no matter when you give it to them.

Only clear bug was merchant companions not equipping things; fixed in next update.
