Bottom row constantly darkened

As of the most recent update, the bottom row of the map (not the overworld map, the screen map) is constantly darkened in a similar fashion to the vantabloom darkness aura effect. I have yet to verify if any other user has experienced this so far but at least on my machine, checking and restoring the files' integrity has not worked.
