Console UI does not allow entering many characters in item naming or tattoo descriptions, preventing use of color markup

Steps to reproduce: With color text entry enabled, and without the modern UI enabled, attempt to enter a tattoo description or item name containing color markup, for instance, {{R|test}}, or other

Expected outcome: The same characters will be allowed as when using the modern UI or when entering item notes

What happens: The {, }, and | characters (along with many other non-alphanumeric characters) cannot be entered in the text box. Of the characters on my keyboard, only the following non-alphanumeric characters could be entered:
