Unable to replicate. Verified suspensors work as expected, both on the item when it was generated and tinkered on, across save and restore. Suspensors have a boot sequence; please be alert to message feedback from it. If it can be verified that the bug is occurring and isn’t a confusion about the boot sequence, a save would be nice, or replication steps from a new game (presumably using wishes). Hopefully the rules language of the suspensor mod will be adjusted in 200.81 to adjust expectations regarding the boot sequence.

Never mind, all that was missing from reproduction was equipping the thing. Fixed in 200.81.
