Message (jump):

<kernelmethod> Some weird behaviors occur when you have two pilot's seats in a golem (e.g. if you bring back another one from a mech pilot who ejected):

  • You can pilot the golem from the second seat, but are unable to eject from it. The "Eject" ability still shows up on the ability screen.
  • If you eject the original seat and return to your golem, you can no longer pilot from the second seat unless you pick it up and drop it off at the front of the cockpit (where the original seat was).

IMO the expected behavior is consistency across both cases (either you can pilot from the second seat whether or not there's a seat at the front of the cockpit, or you can't).

Whether or not the current behavior is intended, if you are under any circumstances able to pilot from the second seat, then either
- Ejection is supposed to be allowed from the second seat and is currently broken, or
- Ejection is not supposed to be allowed, and either the eject ability shouldn't show up in the abilities screen or you should get a helpful pop-up when you do attempt to eject.

(Sorry for the wordy bug report.)
