<kernelmethod> alpha: I'm periodically running into tile rendering bugs such as this one, where the tile for a wall appears as a big splotchy block such as this rather than the correct tile.
I'm not sure how to reproduce this unfortunately (if there's something I could do to make this easier to reproduce please let me know). It seems like other players have also run into it, e.g.

(although I don't think there's been a report made for this specific bug.) What I can say about it is:
- It doesn't seem like there are any specific conditions that cause this to occur; it just seems to periodically happen at random.
- AFAICT the rendering bug only affects tiles inheriting from
Wall
(including things like wrought iron fences)- Saving and quitting the game, then reloading causes the bug to disappear.
- Leaving the zone and returning does not cause the bug to disappear.
- Nothing in particular shows up in the
Player.log
(I've attached mine anyways). For the screenshot here: I descended some stairs and initially revealed part of the zone. After ascending + descending and then revealing some more parts of the zone, it seems that the new walls I uncovered are affected by the bug, but not the old ones.

You probably have a better handle on how to reproduce this than I do, but if it helps, I’ve found that running around with the
Explore zone
debug option enabled causes this bug to trigger much more frequently. - Log in to comment
