Friendly Ivories not granting XP

When an creature dies from stepping on a player-friendly (burgeoned) Young Ivory or a Lurking Beth, they don’t grant XP.

Not sure if this only happens when they bleed to death, or also if they die from the impalement.

The same also happens with Aloe Pyras, but they murder everybody anyways.
