Continuous "Press OK to upgrade" loop during firmware upgrade

Issue #121 invalid
Former user created an issue

The unit should not repeat the "Press OK to upgrade" prompt after it has just finished upgrading, so the user cannot repeat the upgrade cycle continuously.

One possible solution to this is, when the upgrade is completed, display "Remove USB drive", and when this is done (hopefully auto-detected by the unit), reboot the unit. Or if detection is not possible, perhaps "Remove USB drive then press OK" could be an alternative.

Reproduction steps

  1. Turn off the T3 at the switch. Insert thumb drive. Turn switch back on.
  2. Unit shows "Press OK to upgrade" for ~20 seconds. If OK is pressed, unit goes to step 3. If not pressed, unit goes to step 4.
  3. Unit shows "Flashing" briefly, then "Upgrading.." for a few minutes. When this is finished, unit goes back to step 2.
  4. Unit shows "Booting", and after a minute or so starts the setup wizard.

The existing behaviour is fine. The firmware upgrade folder has a noforce file, which can be renamed to force. This will do an unconditional firmware upgrade (no need to press OK) and display a prompt on front panel to remove the USB device and reboot.
