Focus changes to head of setup screen list when LEFT or RIGHT is used to change a setting

Issue #135 resolved
prl created an issue

In a significant proportion of the Setup screens I've tested, when LEFT or RIGHT are used to change a switch, or to select multi-way options in a setting, pressing LEFT or RIGHT to change the setting makes the change of the setting, and then the focus in the settings list goes immediately to the first item on the list.

I haven't exhaustively tested this, but here are some of the screens in MENU>Setup that are affected (tested in Expert mode, but the problem also seems to be there in Intermediate mode):

  • System>AV Settings>Auto Language
  • System>GUI Settings
  • System>OSD Settings
  • System>Buttons Settings
  • System>Time Settings
  • System>Front Panel Settings
  • TV>Channel Selection
  • TV>Subtitle Settings
  • TV>EPG Settings

The problem doesn't affect all screens that have these UI elements in them, and some screens can't be tested because they don't have these sorts of element. There may also be screens outsice MENU>Setup that are also affected.

Reproduction steps

For one example (with GUI mode set to default Intermediate):

Go to MENU>Setup>System>OSD Settings, press DOWN to scroll down to Show animation while busy. Press LEFT or RIGHT to change the switch. The switch changes and the focus jumps to the top element of the screen.

This happens on all multi-way selection and switch settings on this screen and on all the screens listed in the description.
