POWER button fails to work in many UI contexts
POWER works for me (using default settings POWER -> Standby long press POWER -> Power/Restart menu) in only a limited number of UI contexts.
The instructions in parentheses describe how to get to a context assuming that you are starting from LiveTV.
Contexts where POWER works:
- LiveTV
- Main Menu (MENU)
- File Player (MENU>Videos>Recordings or MEDIA)
- Playing recording (MENU>Videos>Recordings or MEDIA, then select and play)
- Media player (MEUN>Music)
- Power/Restart (MENU>Setup>Power)
- Information (MENU>Setup>Information)
- InfoBar (OK)
Almost everywhere else I tried, POWER and long-POWER fail. It fails, for example, in:
- Subtitle menu (SUBTITLE)
- Audio menu (AUDIO)
- Remote help (HELP)
- Teletext (TEXT, but then, nothing works in Teletext at the moment)
- Setup (MENU>Setup, all screens that I tried)
- File Browser (e.g. MENU>Videos>Internal HDD)
- You Tube (MENU>Videos>You Tube)
- Media Portal (MENU>Videos>Media Portal)
- Graphical EPG (MENU>TV/RADIO>Program Guide)
- MultiEPG (EPG)
- InfoBar EPG (long-press EPG, 6)
- Auto Timer setup (MENU>TV/RADIO>AutoTimer)
- Timer setup (MENU>TV/RADIO>Timers)
- Zap history (MENU>TV/RADIO>History)
- Favourites (FAV)
- Service List (UP/DOWN, or FAV, BLUE Favourites)
- Program Information (INFO)
- Last.FM (MENU>Music>Last.FM)
- SHOUTCast (MENU>Music>SHOUTCast)
- Picture Player (MENU>Photos)
- Flickr (MENU>Photos>Flickr)
- Web cams (MENU>Photos>Web cams)
- Plugin Browser (MENU>Plugins)
- AirPlayer setup (MENU>Plugins>AirPlayer)
- GMail Reader (MENU>Plugins>GMail Reader)
- IPTV List Updater (MENU>Plugins>IPTV List Updater, GREEN Start)
- Weather Info (MENU>Plugins>Weather Info)
- Web browser (MENU>Plugins>Web browser)
Reproduction steps
Enter the contexts using the instructions in the bug description and press POWER.

I tested a fair sample of the above and all seemed to respond with 20140416. I will leave if for PRL to definitively Close this bug.
Note! I have Power configured as Power Menu and Long Power configured as Shutdown.

It would be good to have a key combination that performs an unconditional / emergency enigma2 restart (or reboot). Something like POWER followed by HELP within 0.5 seconds, or 5 individual presses of POWER within 5 seconds (with no other keys in between)
