Media Player crashes once file has finished playing

Media Player crashes once file has finished playing. This usually happens after the media file ends but does not return to the selection screen. So I try and to skip or play to the end. Sometimes it works, sometimes it crashes.
Reproduction steps
Play file and at the end if it does not return to the file list, try pressing skip or play buttons.
