Poor reception of Seven in WA causes HbbTV crash

User reports that he has poor reception of Network Seven in Western Australia, which causes his T3 to crash or lock up when he tunes to a service on Network Seven and lets the T3 receive the service for 5-10 seconds.
One of the posted logs contains the following information:
