No "Later" option for Shutdown when a recording is active

prl created an issue

Powering off (to Shutdown) while there's a recording in progress brings up a popup, but its only options are to shut down immediately, or to cancel the shutdown. There's no equivalent of the DP series' Later option in this case to delay shutdown until the recording is completed.

On the T3, I think the behaviour should be to offer an option like "Later, shut down when recordings have completed", and if this option is selected, to go to Standby with the recording continuing, and then shut down when the recording(s) complete.

Shutting down to Standby when a recording is active goes into Standby immediately, but the recording seems to continue.

    The behaviour seems to have been amended. With the 20140327 firmware on Shutdown the behaviour is to pop a notice screen saying "going to standby, and will shutdown when the recording completes."

    P.S. This is for Long Press Power configured as Shutdown.

    With 20140416 firmware, from the power menu Shutdown still offers yes/no with yes doing a hard shutdown.

    With 20140508 firmware, from the power menu Shutdown still offers yes/no with yes doing a hard shutdown.

    Do we still need this bug? While the T3 may not work the same way as DP-Series, it seems to behave reasonably as it is now. I suggest closing this bug and if the current behaviour is lacking, open a new bug/feature request that is specific to current T3 behaviour, rather than a mode of operation that tries to emulate the DP-series.

    I think this should be closed, and possibly a new enhancement opened to allow for a "later" option when shutting down via the Power / Restart menu.
