Web browser doesn't work directly after upgrade

The Web broswer doesn't work properly (e.g. File>Open Startpage and File>Enter URL) don't work after an upgrade until at least the GUI has been restarted.
Reproduction steps
Directly after an upgrade, start browser (e.g. with MENU>Plugins>Web Browser). Browser File>Open Startpage and File>Enter URL have no effect.
Long-press POWER, select Restart GUI, when GUI has restarted, restart browser. Browser menu items like File>Open Startpage and File>Enter URL now orkk.
