Poor formatting of the output from the Google News plugin

The formatting of the output from the Google News plugin is pretty poor. I suggest not pre-installing it.
Reproduction steps
Menu>Plugins>Google News. Formatting of menus is poor (not centred in buttons properly), formatting of articles is poor (long headlines run over into item text).

Could be kept if the formatting is fixed.
News item selection seems strongly US-centric, but given the source, there's probably not much that can be done about that, other than using a different news feed.
