Crossreferenced bibtex-entries are not included in MyBibsonomy->myBibTex

Issue #1148 new
Former user created an issue

Reported by davef: The list MyBibsonomy->myBibTex has many entries with crossreferences, e.g. crossref = {conf/fates/2005} - usually to proceedings, since the entries are copies of DPLB.

If the crossreferenced entries could be included automatically at the end of myBibTex, that would be a huge help. Otherwise, just using DPBL makes more sense.

Is this related to issue [#1114]?

First: no, this feature request is unrelated to bug #1114.

Second: I agree that this would be a very helpful feature but unfortunately we are not able to implement this easily. It would be very expensive (and take some time) to find all referenced entries in the database.

Commented by davef: Awww, what a disappointment :( For me, bibsonomy is only of little help if I still have to go to DPLB and copy bibtex-blocks into my bib-file :(

Would it be possible to resolve crossreferences at the point a new paper is added to bibsonomy? Would also be more elegant if bibsonomy was closed (i.e. not with links directing outside, e.g. references only found in DPLB).
