What to do with the empty space for document previews, when there is no document preview?

Issue #1931 wontfix
Robert Jäschke created an issue

I just had a look on this post and realized that there is a lot of white space at the area where the document preview should be because there is no preview (at least for me). The reserved space also causes a line break for the tags on small screens and possibly cuts off some other information.

Thus, my proposal: we could just use that space for the content on the left and don't reserve it for a preview, which does not exist. Other suggestions are welcome!

I suggest to fix the size of the layout like here in Bitbucket and add a placeholder for the missing preview.

One of the most terrible things of BibSonomy is the not available boundary of page width. A human eye is not able to read the abstract if the text will be shown in full width of the content margins. I strongly recommend to let it be. White areas are friends of yours (and your eyes!) Replace by a placeholders is suitable.
