Strange Character appears on in post lists

In a post list, many posts have a strange character in the upper left corner of where the preview pic ususally is. It is and O with an accent above and one below. In the source (inspect element) I find the cause to be this css code:

.glyphicon-bookmark:before { content: "\e044"; }
