schema.org Markup no longer working
BibSonomy used to represent entities like authors, publications and ratings etc. as structured data using schema.org. This no longer works. A testing tool for the markup can be found here: http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets

Stephan, wouldn't it be most efficient, if you fix this?

In the old layout the schema.org markup is broken, too. Therefore, I think it is not a "must-have" for the BibSonomy 3 release. We should fix this, after the Bootstrap release is done.

Needs to be done but not by Sebastian as this seems to be a more general problem. But it is important.

@seboettg: what is exactly broken in the old layout? The webmaster tool returns the items i would expect (e. g. http://www.google.com/webmasters/tools/richsnippets?q=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.bibsonomy.org%2Fbibtex%2F18a5e30eb13194e593ff7696e627a9acc%23discussionbox)

for ranking please see https://support.google.com/webmasters/answer/1211158?hl=en
Google doesn’t use markup for ranking purposes at this time—but rich snippets can make your web pages appear more prominently in search results, so you may see an increase in traffic.
