Problems removing bookmarked publications (not sure if only bootstrap or general problem)

Issue #2259 closed
Mark Kibanov created an issue

The story: I bookmarked twice the same publication and wanted to remove one of the bookmarks.

I went to the "my posts" page. When I clicked on "remove" button, I got to the 404-Page. I got back and clicked once again the "remove" button and got to the "Ooooooops something went wrong" button. I got back and the publication was not there. But! the publication is still there on my homepage (exported from BibSonomy), see attachment.

Please, fix the "remove'-function

    1. When you clicked the first time "remove", what kind of 404 page did appear? One in the BibSonomy layout or one in another layout?
    2. How did you go "back"? Using the browser's "back" button or reloading the original page?
    3. Real duplicates should not happen, only when something really goes wrong.
    4. The duplicate was correctly removed in BibSonomy. However, your homepage is not updated in real-time. Hence, it still showed the duplicate. I re-initialized the corresponding Zope object and now everything is fine.

    1. It was not a bibsonomy layout
    2. I used the browser's "back"
    3. Once I published my bookmark with some additional information (publisher-filed etc.) and got back to the page where the fields were filled again with the same information. I thought, the post was not created and clicked once again "post". I got the message that this is a duplicate. However, the publication was posted.
    4. Thank you!

In such cases, using your browsers "back" button can yield unreliable results. If I understand you correctly, you did create a "near-duplicate" by adding additional information into a previously submited form field. I.e., effectively, you posted two slightly different posts. That is how it should work, so nothing really bad happened.
