Redirect back to originally requested page after registration

Whenever a non-logged-in user requests a page or functionality which requires prior login, the user is redirected to a login or register page. After a login, the user is already sent back to the originally requested page. This same behaviour is now intended to be available also for the case of prior registration.

There has been rumor that this behaviour once worked. It needs to be checked whether and where there are problems in remembering the originally requested page all through the registration process.

If this really existed, at latest when the activation of user accounts was introduced this feature did no longer work. And I think the sentence "This same behaviour ..." should not contain a "not".
