Former user created an issue 2016-02-12

In Firefox 43.04 for Mac the addOn Bibsonomy Buttons no longer function this morning. Re-installing the addOn and re-starting Firefox did not help. Somebody knows what to do?

We released an updated version of the plugin (1.6.2) to restore compatibility with Firefox 44.*. The newer version, however, does not work with older versions of Firefox. We have updated the compatibility information in the Mozilla Add-on store. Please try to either update Firefox to the lastest stable release (44.0.2) or re-install the Add-on again (here the older Firefox version should install the old 1.4.1 version of the plugin).
