bibsonomy buttons do nothing in Firefox

Problem: since a recent Firefox upgrade, none of the bibsonomy buttons (post pub, bookmark, or go to home page) seem to do anything: clicking produces no visible action.

System: latest Firefox (44.0.2) on up-to-date Debian sid, persists after reinstalling Bibsonomy buttons.
