Better sources for DOI-related metadata

If I want to add a new publication via DOI 10.1007/978-3-658-11994-2_33 the result is not very satisfying (it's a chapter in a book) but there are better sources for related bibliographic data, e.g. here: http://search.crossref.org/?q=10.1007%2F978-3-658-11994-2_33. Perhaps it would be possible to check multiple sources for such metadata and/or improve the scraper for springer (if that is used for getting information from this DOI).
