User assignment to person (creation) needs to be done multiple times

When I click on a person/author of a publication and want to link this yet unassigned person to me I have to create me as a new person. When I want to do this with another of my publications and I want to link this new unknown person to me in the displayed list of already existing persons there are only the same as in my first assignment. It seems as if the creation of the new person does not appear in the list to select from.

I'm not sure but I think it takes some time until the person is in the list. Could you try it again right now?

No, sorry, still does not work. I again added a new person, and filled out some fields. With the next publication I again have to add a new person.
