Unicode emojis in title, such as from dev.to articles, cause crash

When adding through Firefox addon, the emojis are reproduced correctly in the title field. Saving attempt results in error.

When adding by pasting URL on website, the emojis get turned into bad-character question marks.

Examples are the emojis that finish off all page titles of article on dev.to.
