When scraper fails provide option to paste in whole exported citation
Issue #2914
open
Sadly sometimes the scraper fails. When it does it is quite labour intensive to populate the required fields yet often one is able to export a citation from the journal. Would it not be realtively easy to pop up a window where the whole exported citation could be pasted in in one go rather than snip bits out line by line and paste line by line?

reporter Exellent and thanks. That is really useful. I wonder if it would be helpful to have a link to that snippet tool from the failed scraper page?
The journal was: https://journals.ametsoc.org/view/journals/atsc/72/2/jas-d-14-0041.1.xml

When the journal provides a BibTeX or Endnote export, you can use these formats and paste them into https://www.bibsonomy.org/postPublication > BibTeX/EndNote snippet. RIS support will be added soon.
