Brewery - can't drink output

So I've started making some brews and everything is running nice. I made a full tank of cider (from apple juice) and I were able to collect it in glass bottles (and it worked fine) as well as with a bucket. But I can't drink it, so now I have a useless bucket of cider and nine useless bottles of cider... Is this a bug or is the non-distilled drinks not meant for drinking? This is actually quite game breaking (since the whole addon to More Trees doesn't give anything) but I will report it as a minor bug since there are no actual crashes or such.
