I used the splicer to convert a modest princess to a cultivated one, and after putting it in an apiary along with a Mineral drone, the life bar didn't start going down for around 10 minutes, even though it had the shortest life gene.

I believe I have worked out why this is happening, and I will rewrite the splicer code soon

I will rewrite the splicer code, maybe that will fix it.
