The pl2bat.bat file (bundled with perl) takes a perl script and wraps it such that the script can be invoked natively on Windows. In a handful of cases the results are not handled by pygmentize if treated as a Batchfile. In our use of pygmentize the script appears to hang. If the script is treated as perl it works fine. A potential hack would be to look for the comment in the first line produced by pl2bat.bat ...
