Issue #438 resolved

literate haskell multi line strings broken

Anonymous created an issue

multiline strings in literate haskell come out wrong

put the following in tests.lhs

{{{

test0 = True test1 = "this is \n\ \multiline string" test2 = True }}}

then run pygmentize test.lhs

and you can see the newline and prefix characters altered at the end of the \n\ line and on the next line, and the highlighting go wrong from there on.

    sorry, got the wiki formatting wrong, the text you should paste into tests.lhs is:

    > test0 = True
    > test1 = "this is \\n\\
    >          \\multiline string"
    > test2 = True
