LaTeX meta-characters in "conf.py" not escaped

Anonymous avatarAnonymous created an issue

(Using Sphinx-0.5.1-py2.6.egg)

It seems that LaTeX meta-characters used in "conf.py" are not escaped using '\'. E.g. using "A & B" for the title:

latex_documents = [ ('index', 'AB.tex', ur'A & B', ur'author', 'manual'), ]

Will result in:

! Misplaced alignment tab character &. \Title ->A & B

My current workaround is to use "ur'A \& B'".

Thanks for the great tool.
