autoclass_content="both" uses object.__init__ docstring

Ben Darnell avatarBen Darnell created an issue

When using autodoc with autoclass_content="both" on a class that doesn't define an __init__ method, Sphinx 1.2 uses the object.__init__ docstring. In version 1.1 it used the class docstring alone.

This appears to be related to 6b31af1de4; if I set autodoc_docstring_signature = False the unhelpful copies of object.__init__'s docstring go away.
