Txt lexer missing for make latex

Jerome Renard avatarJerome Renard created an issue

It seems there is an issue the the txt lexer while using the Latex builder. If I run make html, everything works fine, but if I run make latex I always get an exception with the following message :

ClassNotFound: no lexer for alias u'txt' found

I attached the full backtrace.

  • Sphinx version : 1.0.1
  • Pygments version : 1.3.1

This is curious. It doesn't surprise me that there is no "txt" lexer; it does not exist in Pygments. (Why it would work with HTML I don't know.) However, this exception should be caught in sphinx.highlighting and result in a warning instead of propagating to toplevel. Also, in your log the Pygments source is from a 1.2.2 egg, while you say here that you have 1.3.1 installed.
