"list index out of range" when building Numpy v1.5.1/1.6.1 doc with sphinx 1.1.2

sandrotosi avatarsandrotosi created an issue

Hi, a fellow Debian Developer has tested the new sphinx 1.1.2 against all the packages that currently use sphinx to build doc, and resulted in a traceback when building numpy documentation, either v1.5.1/1.6.1. The build log is at:

http://people.debian.org/~jwilk/tmp/python-numpy_1.6.1-3_i386.build

and the /tmp/sphinx* file content is attached.

I've contacted numpy upstream developers and they suggested it might be a sphinx issue (ref: http://mail.scipy.org/pipermail/numpy-discussion/2011-November/059311.html) so I'm contacting you for help.

Thanks in advance, Sandro
