Further development and gpu

Hi,

I just found blaze and would like to know how the plans look like for further development?

In addition it would be great, if you can say something about the usage on gpu and solvers for gpu.

I saw blaze-cuda, but it seems to be not further developed, but I am not exactly sure.

And for the solver part, there I found the lapack connection and blaze iterative . Are there recommended gpu-libraries for solving equation system with blaze? Maybe there are some ideas or plans to connect blaze with amgx!? Not sure if this possible or suitable at all…

Hi Fab!

The development of Blaze has merely slowed down, because I’ve spent the last year writing a book. However, the development should take off again soon.

Unfortunately both the development of blaze-code and blaze-iterative have stopped. However, since there are other parties that are interested in GPUs, this is a likely path that we will take. There is no specific plan to connect Blaze with amgx, though.
