I’ve set my hunter to auto-buy ammo, but it never triggers and I have to buy it manually:

    was the hunter in the group hunter? ema does not understand what class you are by self at the min

    I found something new today, I think it depends on the vendor. For instance, in Ogrimmar, the gun/ammo merchant next to the AH works. If I go to a vendor like a general goods vendor, it does not.

    I just set this up on my hunters and I can confirm that I couldn’t/didn’t buy arrows from the general goods vendor in the valley of trials.

    Auto buy isn’t working correctly at all. Here are some of the issues I’ve had over the past few days:

    • Doesn’t buy items at all
    • Only buys after opening and closing the vendor frame over and over
    • Buying too many items on multiple characters at once
    • Buying the exact amount needed in total by the entire team, but all on one character rather than spaced evenly out across all 5 characters

    I have this set up to buy arrows and food for my hunters.

    Also, when arrows are bought through EMA, they don’t go into the quiver for some reason. If I were to buy them manually, the game places them into my quiver automatically.

    I have no idea how this works, but it might be that hunters are weird because they don’t have 100% default bags?

    Just going to add am reading this not had the items to test as if yet as av only just started classic today. Currently this is setup from retail so hunters ammo is not a thing there so i nerver had to look at that. All it does it buys from the vender the same as a mouse click does so its a blizzard api and addons or be they got hunter magic in there code ill try liok this werkend

    I know there have been a bunch of emac fixes over the last couple of days, so I don’t know if you’ve looked into this yet. NBD if you haven’t yet, but in case you have, I still have the issue emac buying too many arrows on characters that need them. Is it possible that it doesn’t always see the arrows that are in the quiver?

    For info, I also use TSM4, but wasn’t using it when I started having these issues.

    I do believe this is somthing to do with the “bag" somthing we don't have to support for in live unfortunately have not had time to look into this one and unsire when i can get in to really check it out.

    i can not get this to happen at all buys from every vender i tried buys the right number all the time, and puts them in the right arrow bag as well. so i don’t know whats going on your setup

    Hiya, sorry I haven’t been terribly accessible lately. Yeah I can come discord…but I’m wondering if maybe this is a bad interaction between the TSM vendor pane and ema? That’s really the only other thing that I can think of that you might not be using.

    Oof you’re right. I could just set up a vendoring operation in TSM to automatically restock these items. TSM sync isn’t really working properly on classic, so I’d have to set the operations up on every account manually, but yeah that’s a good solution tbh.

    Let’s just assume this is a bad interaction between TSM4 and ema, and it’s on me to just use TSM4 instead? 😃

    it might be a easy thing to think it might be checking for the default vender ui before it buys anything it did this on sell and i manged to fix it so i guess i might be able to do the same ill try and look later for you

    I have just tried this with TSM and it works fine.

    There was a bug where it was Multiplying the Cost by a stack Size so 10c would be x the the arrows but they was getting bought in Single items

    So I just tried this with TSM. The goal is to fill up to 40 apples.

    All characters spoke with the NPC at the same time (using interact with target).

    • Char 1 filled to 40 apples as expected (bought 15, 5, 15 apples)
    • Char 2 filled to 69 apples (bought 20, 9, 20, 9 apples) – it looks like it bought the required amount twice instead of once
    • Char 3 filled to 144 apples (bought 6, 14, 6, 20, 6, 20, 6, 20, 6, 20, 6 apples) – it looks like it bought the required amount… 6 times instead of once?
    • Char 4 filled to 129 apples (bought 3, 17, 3, 20, 3, 17, 3, 3, 20, 3 apples) – it bought 4.5 times instead of once??
    • Char 5 filled to 98 apples (bought 20, 9, 20, 9, 11, 9, 9 apples) – bought 3 times instead of once

    This screenshot is an example of what I’m talking about.

    So, yeah, this is not good. I’m def disabling the buying in ema again. I’m swimming in apples now lol.

    Maybe this is a result of spamming the interact with target macro and lag? But it’s weird that they all bought a different multiple of the required amount so idk.

    The thing is this is done local nothing to do with the “team" so maybe your right its reading the vender “open” more then once with itw spam ill defo look into that thanks for the detailed report
