Orders paid with Authorize.net don't send the "new appointment" email

The email is activated and is in scheduled actions, but it’s not sent.
I cannot reproduce this with the “bank transfer” and manual status changes on my test site. So, it’s not about the status transfers from “pneing payment” to “processing” that I thought might be the fault. It’s something else.
Reported here - user provided staging access.

Just checked and there is an issue on customers site with Cron spawning, customer should check this page for details: https://github.com/johnbillion/wp-crontrol/wiki/Problems-with-spawning-a-call-to-the-WP-Cron-system.
This usually happens on staging sites, where server has no access to wp-cron.php due to limited access and protection.
