Inventory in 'No pref' not working ok

Example:

Create 2 same products and assign 3 same staff members.

Book 1 slot at Product A. Product A has 2 more slots left for that time. Product B doesn't display that slot if 'no pref' or 'automatically assigned' is selected. As soon as I select the staff that I know is still free, it shows the slot.
