Synced events ending at midnight block out the entire next day

When there a synced gCal event ending at 00:00, WooCommerce Appointments thinks it ends at the end of the next day, not the start of the next day (i.e. midnight).
For example, I had an event in my gCal on Jun 3rd 15:00-00:00 and the software treated it as ending 00:00 on Jun 5th (i.e. the end of the day after) - see attached picture of the admin calendar vs gCal.
I have to work around this by setting the end time to 23:59.
When I change the end time to Jun 4th 00:01, the admin calendar functions normally (15:00-00:00 on Jun 3rd and 00:00-00:01 on Jun 4th).
