Google Sync is slowing down Appointments and Check out process
We’ve noticed since we installed the Appointments plug-in on our site last week that the calendar and the checkout process is very slow. At times taking up to 11 seconds for the page to load. We did some tracing and see the attached resulting reports. Is there a way we can optimize the API connection or possibly change the timing so the transaction processes and checkout and then the Google API syncs?
I reviewed the log for the googlecal and it looks like a huge list of appointments being synced each time. Seems like the more we use the platform the slower this is going to get. We don’t have that many upcoming appointments, less than 50 I would say.
Some help on optimizing this would help. Thank you!
