License for staging/development site

I'm working on a new website for my client and would need to activate my license on my development site to work on the appointments part of their site.

Is it possible to use the same license or do I have to upgrade?

Manage your licensed sites inside your account on our website. You can transfer the license between sites as many times as you want.
