Appointments in cart are never cleared
On latest version, scheduled actions are set with status pending and past the specified time as seen in the attached image. Using WPML.

Cannot reproduce. Might be related to the specific cron issue on customer’s website. Will investigate more with more details.

For now, it is recommended to use this plugin: https://github.com/woocommerce/action-scheduler-high-volume for similar cases. Once Action Scheduler has better actions for pending/unresolved action, we'll implement it to Appointments as well.

reporter The customer is demanding a fix. It’s still not working in the latest version, even with the proposed plugin installed.

This is known WooCommerce issue, since the cart cleanup is tied to 'woocommerce_cleanup_sessions' Cron task and if site encounters Cron issues, it might not work correctly. Check this topic: https://github.com/woocommerce/woocommerce/issues/26181.
Quick fix it to deactivate/reactivate the WooCommerce plugin until you can find our why the Cron tasks are not firing.
