Not possible to add more than 30 custom availability rules in Chrome

You can add 30 custom availability rules, but after adding 30+ rules and clicking update, Chrome gives an error in the console:

After googling, it seems like a Chrome issue. I tried in Firefox and was able to add more than 30 rules.

Does this need to be fixed within the plugin?
